Higher 300 dpi resolutions are available in either factory versions or as a field upgrade. The upgrade kit includes a new printhead with firmware and takes 30 minutes to install. Based on the same die-cast aluminum chassis, a version of 600 dpi resolutions is available as a factory option. The printer offers speed of up to 4 ips and a generous 32 MB DRAM, 8 MB FLASH memory as well as a SD card slot.
