The PV-1000 can save both a text file of the verification results and also the scan file (which can be uploaded if required into the Axicon PC software). Printed verification reports can be obtained either by using a standard serial (RS232) printer or by transferring the saved data to a PC through the use of a USB memory stick and then printing from the PC. For the more price-conscious user who does not have an existing verifier and has a need to only verify the physically smaller barcodes, the PV-1072 provides the ideal solution.The PV-1072 is supplied as a complete solution with the verifier read-head included. Unlike the PV-1000, the PV-1072 can only save/print the text file results of the verification (the 1072 does not have the facility to save the scan files). Please also note that the PV-1072 read head cannot be used in conjunction with a PC or Mac to provide more detailed information.
