Imagine if each item was scanned onto the vehicle to correspond to the customers order. When the lorry is loaded the driver takes a simple-to-use mobile computer into the cab with him and starts his pre-planned delivery cycle. The mobile computer is equipped with GPS satellite navigation so the driver easily finds the customer site. He arrives on time, unloads each item and scans it into the customer's premises, the customer signs the screen accepting that the delivery is correct and this information, including the signature, is sent via the mobile phone network back to your offices. The driver prints a delivery receipt and the mobile computer then presents him with his next delivery, and gives him directions.
